Photofolia’s goal is to engage its members in a learning
process about the world and photography.
The two main things we do is facilitating the sharing of photos and the
organizing of critical interaction about them. We hope that through that
interaction the members get to know the world better: its geography, its
land- and urbanscapes, cultures and photography: its tech, composition side
and the post processing of images.
Last but not least we hope that the members get to know each other better
and foster each other’s development as photographer. Taking this further
we know that photographers on the web have a tendency to form social bonds,
even enjoy meeting each other. We understand and encourage that. Because of
this we can say that Photofolia is community based. And this also has another
aspect. Through it’s beta-testing the members gave a very valuable contribution.
And they will continue to do so in an advisory capacity in the moderation of
the site. |
