About this photograph:
With this picture I wanted a little to bring near architecture of the mansion in Blociszewo.

Into XV age Blociszewo belonged to family Blociszewski, in this into 1408 to Jan and Nicholas Blociszewski of the coat of arms - the Support (Ostoja in Polish). Since 1793 until the interwar - period Blociszewo belonged to the family Keszycki.
Florentyna (from home Ch³apowski) Keszycka instructed to architect Kazimierz Skorzewski building of palace in Blociszewo. The palace was ready in 1893. Very shapely, eclectic palace links first of all to rococo. Mansard roofs reminds French architecture. The whole state very decorative and harmonious composition. One-storeyed palace with the full storey, hidden in mansard steep roofs, with the main storeyed corps with preceded porch of the main entrance about four columns. The form of the palace not worst. In the similar form is palatial park. In 1939 an owner of Blociszewo was Stephen Keszycki.
At present in the palace is situated the Sanatorium and Centre of Rehabilitation.

Hi Jurek,

a wonderful shot of this impressive mansion. It seems very well tended to and in good shape. I wouldn't dare to ring the door bell. ;-))

Hope all is well, my friend and that you have a great weekend!

Hi Jerzy
Good use of the ND grad filter to get some colour in the sky. There is a warm and inviting look to the old palace.

Hallo Jurek!
An all-over beautiful and skillful composition! Thanks to the good quality of the phto one can enjoy all these beautiful architectural details. I also like that this "palace" isn't as excessive magnificent like many others. It somehow looks even modest, especially in its dimensions. A wonderful place to have a walk - or to get well again.
Greetings from again summerly Westphalia - and a nice and sunny weekend to all the working population! ;-))
