Another series, this time from Puerta del Sol, from Madrid. in this centre of madrid, there is always many people and some living statues present. I like these street performers very much. It is such a fun to see Don Quijote, Van Gogh or Leonardo da Vinci. Sometimes they are very creative.
The World Championship of Living Statues is held annually at Arnhem in the Netherlands. In 2011, the festival ran from 28 to 29 August with around 300 000 visitors and 300 living including (including amateurs and children).

You really are a lucky photographer, has started a collection of statues alive especiais.Para enrich my collection, only two of these in August will go to St. Paul, during a salon photography and imaging, where I plan to shoot with a guide, a photographer friend of many living statues and curious, he also collects. This D.Quixote of their motor, is the maximum, first thing in the world

Hello Malgorzata.
Successful series of these living statues. I've seen other (and photographed), sometimes identical (photo. 4) on the Rambla in Barcelona.
I see that Don Quijote is modernizing its transportation.
Happy sunday.
Pierre.

Hello Malgo, These people are very common in Vegas and sometimes in San Francisco. Some are outstanding and others are too obvious. I really like your principal character here. Looks like he has a bag for a bowling ball with him. Charming looking fellow from the days of spears and armor. Of course these others are interesting too. T be very candid, I don't think I really recognize any of them. I probably don't have any imagination. Ha ha. Good job. Well done. Have a good week. Kindest Regards, Roger

Hi Malgo
What a wonderful series and it is hard to believe how much effort these people put into their roles. Thanks for posting.

Living statues are such fun to photograph. You put together an excellent series of them. The deliberate anachronism is part of the fun on this one. I also like the newspaper guy #4.

Ciao cara Malgo,
beautiful and fun image of this perfect Don Quijote on an improbable electric biga. :-) Excellent photo quality, especially in sharpness and light management. Very interesting also the photographic composition, with the reflection of the road and the transparency of the glass behind the character. Brava!
Ciao, buona notte e buon marted́!!!
