The photo was taken on the river SIle during a sunset in a cold winter day. This duck swims slowly toward the shore, waiting for the slow movement of the sun that descended behind the trees. Tomorrow is another day ...

Ciao, Paolo!
Eh, a fave ;) the use of the graphism here is just spetacular, as well as the color combination and
the scene as a whole. Ducks are great friends of photographers, aren´t they?
A special contribution to the ToM.

Hi Paolo
You have captured the slow motion perfectly. I could sit and watch these ripples forever. Beautiful golden tones.

Hi Paolo.
I tend to agree with Isabelle when she say that ducks are very photographer's friends even if we keep bothering them with our strange toys... Here, it's not only the duck but the smoooth ripples and the reflections which attrct the eyes a lot and leaves us with a sensation of slow motion and calm.
The same sensation we have when we throw a stone into water and stay observing the waves it provokes, like a little tsunami but with lot less catastrophic effects. Looking at the vertical frame i also like how those long dark shadows makes us understand how right the vertical format is appropriate here.
Cheers.

Foto stupenda.

Ciao Paolo.
A very graphic picture with successful use of reflections.
A composition which I appreciate the geometric construction and balance.
Good use of light at daybreak.
Cordially.

Hallo Paolo!
The vertical format here has been a good choice and the all-over orange/brownish colours simply are intriguing here as the different patterns in the water are. Truly a not everyday photo - a little artwork.
Greetings from rainy and cool Germany!

Hello Paolo - Glorious golden ripples with the wake created by the duck attesting to its gentle motion across the water. The graphic quality of the image is both dramatic and beautiful. I love the dancing light across the water which is so wonderfully punctuated by the dark reflections of the trees. An original interpretation of the theme and a delight to see. Warm regards rosemary

Hi, Paolo -
This is more of an abstract than a motion shot, I'm inclined to say. It creates a very interesting mood, especially with the light and the way you have arranged the elements of the photo so it is balanced - but also unbalanced.
Best,
Dan
