About this photograph:Translate
There is the love that children have for their parents, there is love between brothers, friends, lovers, there's the love devoted to God and to His creatures, there is the love between husbands and wives ... but none of these forms of Love, at any time, anywhere, can resemble the greatness and purity of TRUE LOVE, the love of parents for their children.

I know this is way early in the month, but I know this is a winner, or I'm gonna have to go and beat up all the TMT team, I don't care they all girls, I can take them on :)
Fantastic shot to show the love of a parent to a child, and hand is on of them most important part of expressing love, the feeding, the holding, hugging, to pick them up when they fall, to wipe those tears, and more importantly to wipe those asses when they poop, honestly that is LOVE.
I'm so glass the TMT team accept my suggestion of the theme.
Current discussion:zeca wrote in 2011/05/05 21:51:10: Thank you very much, Way. It is an old photo, scanned, but something I love, as I love each moment with my son, even that part of wiping his ass.
Thank you for your suggestion to this beautiful theme, so we have the whole month to see many touching images, but please, don´t beat up the TMT team! Think love! lol...
Current discussion:zeca wrote in 2011/05/05 21:55:09: Thank you, Barbara. Yes, all parents use to be fool with their littles and somethimes their friends must be patient to hear about kakos and googoos..lol.
Best to you,
esse sim é amor eterno! Uma imagem doce, singela e grande apelo sentimental. A opção pelo p&b é no mínimo oportuna. Ótimo enquadramento fechado e foco/profundidade. Excelente contribuição!
Theme of the Month (2011/05/04)
I'm a sentimental gal, for sure, and - honestly, as embarrasing as it is - I have wet eyes right now!! This is a truly beautiful and artistic photo, perfect in b&w. And that note! As a devoted mother, your note really touched me and I can tell that you're also a very devoted father!
It's funny, isn't it. As a child, you love your parents and you think that no one could ever love anyone as much as you love your mom or dad. Then you meet a partner and think, there is no greater love. But when you, yourself become a parent, you realize that you were very wrong all your life - no one can love anyone as much as a parent loves their child!
Touching and wonderful, José. I love it!!
Hugs & love

Yes, we are devoted parents and I feel sorry for those who are not, because they lose the best years of their children and of their lifes. I was a happy man without a son, traveling, diving, doing everything, but nothing, NOTHING compared to the happiness to live devoted to my son. God really knows what to do when He reveals the love increasingly intense.
Best to you and your "children"!
thanks for participating in the theme, and thanks for posting this beautiful photo.

An unusual and moving staff. Anyone who has had children, it remembers a similar scene of his life.
Our large and clumsy hands next to delicate and tiny hands of our children.
These images can not be removed from memory. Still moves me, and lead to strong emotions ...
Really touching scene!
Greetings from cold Mosina,
An oldie but a goodie. This fits the theme so well. The limk between parent and child holds no stronger bond.
What a strong emotional impact in this simple, but very creative shot. You could have not expressed in better, the true and everlasting love of parents for their children. An excellent contribution to the theme!
What a testimony of Love and what a beautiful photo that this small hand delicately put on that of his father!
What could I add? Especially after reading the comment how much moving of Linda but the Love between Grandparents and Grandchildren is very strong also.

That tiny hand lying so relaxed and secure on Daddy's hand really says it all. I have no words to convey the power of this work. How old is your son now?
Current discussion:zeca wrote in 2011/05/20 22:20:48: Thank you, Pat. He is 10yo now. His hand is always bigger than mine! ;-)
Superb B&W composition with great feeling.
Warm regards, Vasilis.
