Yesterday after many grey and cool days sun came out in the afternoon and so we once again have had a little walk in the surroundings of the tiny village Großenbach high up in the low mountain range Rothaargebirge. Großenbach has about 50 inhabitants, a wonderful little restaurant and it is situated in an altitude of 620 metres a.s.l. not far a way from the ridge of the mountain range. Because the access road ends here there's no through traffic and often the wind is the only sound one can hear around the village.
Perhaps you feel like strolling with the eyes in Großenbach and the landscape around … if so, please click at the photo. As you can see the meadows here still aren't very green – but spring is on the way also up here.
By the way, the white golf ball on top of the rightmost hill is a radar station of the German air traffic control.
This is a stitch of 10 vertical photos.

Hi Frank,
A perfect stitch! Congratulations. I suppose you were standing on the ridge when you took this photo. The large version is also nice to look at.
Here it is bitter cold today, 9° C this moment and a north-easterly wind.
Have a nice Easter weekend
John

Ola Frank!

Hi Frank,
I really like that shot. It is a remembering for me of my German working period. I was working for a company based in Selters not so far from Koblenz. Landscapes were nearly looking like that over there. Nice spring coming atmospher.

Hi Frank,
It seems I have skipped this fine panorama. Actually I think I have commented it, but lost it, as it sometimes happens. A beautiful early spring view over the village and the meadows. It looks somehow idyllic and your panorama presents it a great way with good clarity and beautiful natural colours. Amazing that this is a stitch of 10 photos!
The half timbered houses are always nice eye-catchers, also here. Well done!

All the best!
