Here we have another view of Fira, the capital of Santorini island. You can identify the orthodox cathedral in the upper side and that mountain in the far background is Mount Profit Elias, the highest and oldest area of the island. That mountain was the original part of it when the volcanism begun in this region. You can see the many layers of volcanic ashes in the edge of the caldera.
