Just some little things we found while walking on the beach during our vacation with Tyler at Pismo Beach last fall. I have post one similar image before, but this one is a little different and in B&W. I find it more artistic frame this way rather than the whole image. Some different thing we found on the sand in the CI and LV.
We are off to Paris and Switzerland next week to visit family and some sight-seeing too.
lovely compo with minimalism and an intense sense of art. the concavity in the sand looks like a black hole in the sideral space of the beach, attracting such elements, even the heavy and the lighter. very beautiful aspect of this visual poetry.
Really really nice!!!! How I wished to have the beach a little nearer. So many times we look out for the big picture but there is so much more to find if we open our eyes. Fascinating to see what comes to the land with every wave rushing to the beach and seconds later gently rolling back ... and there it is, a tiny shell or a seaweed ... and with the next wave it goes away. Nothing is forever. I can't say which one I like best, both images are strong.
Hey, hey, have a good flight, see you soon, hopefully :-) Big surprise today: Alpaufzug, they moved the cows from one Alp to the other. I knew that they do this some time mid season but I have never seen it before. Many were wearing the nice traditional cloths. I did not make images, somehow it would have disturbed this moment when they walked by our cottage, it looked so pure.
I remember very well the colour image similar to this.😊 I love the way you framed this with the huge border....very artistic. I love the CI too with the seaweed artfully left by the tide. Interesting to see the same seaweed after an incoming wave. The image has the appearance of sky at first glance.
Safe travels and enjoy!
I am not sure I like the artistic approach or not. I am thinking that with the white BG of the page the large white matting is a bit too much white. Even with the black limiting outline it just seems like too much white. Now to the image, this I like with all of the textures and details. The shadows and light really make the image pop, a must for a B&W. Posting the full image in my opinion would have been too much of nothing destracting from the subject. The CI and LV are very nice as well and I do like them.
