Last weekend we got an onset of winter here in Germany. On the streets there was chaos, some airports temporarily were closed, German rail had big difficulties … but my and my neighbours garden offered a wonderful sight – especially in the night. The only source of light in my photo was an about 50 metres away street lamp.
I add a large version.
What a wonderful atmosphere in this photo taken from your window towards the wintry gardens of yours and your neighbour. The exposure is spot on and obvipusly you supported your camera to some structure, because the sharpness is perfect in spite of the long exposure. The composition is attractive. The diagonal of the fence and the diagonal of the roof of the cottage are at the same angle.
Greetings from sleet covered Espoo,
the chilenian araucária (relative of that native from my state) is in evidence with its beautiful shapes, I saw many of them in UK. very beautiful the texture of the snow in the trees, fences and houses and the nocturne mood you got. very beautiful and well done.
take care (happy christmas)
PS: here a grey day of soft rain with a morning very fresh and a noon some hot and humid.
