“Flowers teach us that nothing is permanent: not their beauty, not even the fact that they will inevitably wilt, because they will still give new seeds.
Remember this when you feel joy, pain, or sadness.
Everything passes, grows old, dies, and is reborn.”
Bom dia Zeca,
I'm very impressed with the framing of this splendid flower. You captured enough green for splendid contrast while the shadows prevent any feeling of incompleteness in the leaves. I'll try to remember this next time I'm framing flowers with swoopy leaves. Your quotation defines exactly why I only use fresh flowers. SAA, Patricia
You photographed this bush lily flower in a wonderful way. It quasi opens towards light and the partially sunlit leaves and the buds frame it beautifully. The leaves also provide a nice contrast in colours. I also like "your" note.
Greetings from very grey and cool Germany!
Beautiful words from this big writer, Zeca, wow it gives me the goose bumps. Thanks for sharing this. One of the big authors of our time. We should use these words more often when we try to keep the ageing process back with silly measurements - haha. The image is perfect with the hidden green in the black and how the flower flows outside into the dark parts. Absolutely perfect compo, I find the sunlit greens fantastic. It is the secret to this image.
