This is Långanäsudden in the lake of Övre Brocken in the province of Värmland. I grew up in this province but I hav e absolutely no family roots here. Nearly all my ancestors came from the province of Bohuslän north of Gothenburg.
These trees, these pines, however have roots - even visible roots. One clearly can see that they have to fight in order to survive. You show us a beautiful landscape and I like these vast forests on the slightly ascending slopes.
