In the sun-rays two young novices sweep the bat droppings from floor of Saddar Cave, one of the largest in the Kayin countryside. The cave is home to a large bat population, the sound is incredible and the smell overpowering.
The first impression I had when opening the photo, that is like a fine painting of the great masters, who handled the light wonderfully. You light management is just amazing. The composition is also skilful. What makes this photo so attractive is its wonderful mood. A fine addition to the theme. Excellent!
Happily PF has no aroma function so I can enjoy this delightful little sunbeam without distraction. Another of those glinting rays. It is just what I envisioned when I thought about this theme; it's going to be a tough choice between your two images. GLV, Pat
Not much to say but just appreciating all the wonderful details of this image. Love the effect of the sun light on the smokey air. Though it must be very unhealthy to breath the air in the cave, not sure what they are burning, hopefully not trash, but the thought of the bat dropping in the enclosed area, I can only imagine the smell...
