Back to Orleans Island, close to quebec (follow map link)
I think light in main & #2 & #3 allow the link with TOM.
#4 is the famous snow goose that i already presented in previous posts of this travelog.
#5 is the inside from the B&B (it was absolutely great) : in previous post you had the map link to its location.
Extremely low traffic on PhotoFolia this days allowed me to be the first visitor here.
I love the series very much, full of light and peaceful comfort. Inviting to visit the island and BB which looks both, worth staying in and explore like a museum. I find stuffed snow goose and the distant view of Quebec City not 100 % belonging to your series, a little out of line.
guillaumejm (2018/08/29 17:01:33): Thank's chris.
You're right about the 2 pictures a little out of the series. But i prepared them to be posted and didn't found they diserved a main post .... so they were added to the series (my last one on orleans island).
Yes traffic so low !.
Anyway thank's for commenting.
Bonsoir Jean Marc,
The play of light and shadow in the first three images qualifies them for the TOM in my opinion. #2 is my favorite for the nice balance provided by the way the tree and its shadow frame the shed. I'm thinking it's a garden shed for a tractor to mow all the lawn. The red and white motif is also very attractive. That bit of water and a cloud make this image first in spite of the grandeur of the House in # 9 The last image of the stone house with the red & white shutters and dormer windows is such a standout that I remember it from my brief trip to the island.. Of the two flower images, I prefer the second for it's better flower detail. It looks like a shooting star except for the color. All of your lovely images make me long to revisit Quebec. I'll have to work on French next, but I still need one more trip to italy to become cofortable. Regards, Pat
