The National Slate Museum is not a pristine museum with immaculate exhibits, but an industrial museum with old artefacts used in the mining and production of slate. This was one of the upstairs windows.
I converted to B&W because there was little (if any) colour anyway.
Uhhh ... this would have fit Halloween the other night :-) Always fascinating how spiders are spinning their nets and also what we connect with it - for some probably a nightmare. An excellent image with the old window and raw wall with the net connecting the two.
How nice to find a new image from you. We missed you here ... and of course your wonderful photo work.
This museum must be an interesting and even fascinating place. Your photo is a wonderful contribution to our theme of November and I like especially how you managed the difficult light here. An a bit repellent and at the same time fascinating photo motif ... I even like it ;-)
Greetings from autumnal Germany!
A corner most of us may have glace and just walk on by, but you made a very good photography subject of it. I guess this is also the season for the grunge with Halloween just and Days of the Dead at the end of October. I guess if I had know or have time. I would have walk around the neighborhood to take some picture of their Halloween deco. People are quiet into it here.
