Abstract close up taken of the abandoned boat I posted some time ago from a trip to Norfolk. The strong colours appealed to me. I can't quite remember, but I may have saturated the colours a bit.
You can see the entire boat HERE
I tried a 90º rotation. Which way round do you prefer? See CI
Great observation and well executed shot with close up approach. These look like some very expensive modern abstract paintings by well know artists...I like the illusion of depth by the different colors, the dark graying blue see like distance dark sky and/or shadow of sorts, giving it sense of depth. Also looks somewhat like an aerial shot of planet Mars....

How are those two little cherubs of yours?
maybe the CI and vertical format works a little stronger here. makes me think of a satellite photo, maybe somewhere in Africa :)
Great contribution to the theme.
feather (2018/11/16 09:16:56): I was thinking something similar. It was only when looking at the image after I posted it that I thought that the dark part resembled a night sky. Hence I added the CI later.
I have to agree with the others: It might as well be an aerial shot taken somewhere while flying over the red heart of Australia :-) What an attractive result. We witness how the time works on the old paint and how the rust comes from under it leaving fascinating pattners with wonderful strong colors. I like both version a lot, can't say which one is more perfect.
Details, details, details! Something I just don't see when I am on site. It seems like I am more interested in the big picture and the environment. I know, my bad as I should be looking and concentrating more.
This is an attractive close-up of a decaying boat. It indeed resembles an abstract painting. I like both versions and I had to compare them a while to finally decide that I prefer the vertical one. :-))
