Two men pulling a grungy boat to the northern shore of the Golden Horn. The coordinates are approximate, I was on a ferry from Eyüp (the easternmost ferry pier on the Golden Horn) to Sarıyer (one of the northern ferry piers on the Bosphorus).
It looks like they're moving a café maybe installing it in the park for the day? I like the image with these guys pulling their boat and gear as near as possible to the land so they can finally unload. Fun shot.
A very good one for the ToM. For us in the well to do countries, this is a grungy boat, for other part of the world, it is still a very useful mode of transportation and fully functional machine. Things are use till it doesn't run anymore...and or falling to pieces...for many of us, we drive our cars for only 5 years and we move on to new one...
An interesting action image and a good addition to the theme as well. It seems the men have to pull hard to get the boat close enough the pier for unloading the stuff as the anchor is pulling to another direction.
Nice light and details. I really do like your images of Turkey, a place I have yet to visit. Sorry I missed this one last moth, I had surgery and never completed TheTOM images
