A good motto to follow, especially when it come to photography, even if we get inspired by other you can still do it with your own twist that still maintain your originality. I have never thought too much about it when I photograph, I just do it and however it comes out, good or bad that is my way, even the mistake that happen, it is all my. I sometime have ISO 1600 in the middle of the day, not that I plan it that way, but I sometimes just forgets and I used flash when I feel like it, when I want to brighten up the foreground and sometimes I got too lazy, that is my way. Not very professional. I have a coworker he take it so seriously, we sometimes have to take pictures for the office activities and or portrait for office resumes and I just do it casually and he does it more seriously like a real photographer than me.
Lovely image of the serene nature, I can feel the quiet mood, a good image end of day or beginning of day, up to the viewers to imagine as it is the end of the old year and beginning of a new one. So either way works. Good one for the ToM with the natural dirt road leading in.
Happy New Year! Sometime a little out of focus is not bad. Not have to see everything so clearly....hehe.
Yes I agree; Following a such motto may avoid some frustations :). Also meaning we have the right to commit some errors but we also need to live by ourselves .
Best wishes ti you and your family barbara
guillaumejm (2019/01/01 21:26:14): Hello barbara
Misunderstanding : I didn't meant to live alone ...I think we really have the same ideas on that point :)
JMarcplimrn (2018/12/31 20:28:25): That is also my definition. My Mom cared too much about what others thought and is sometimes made her unhappy. But we only have control of our own behavior, so no sense worrying about what others do.BabaCam (2018/12/31 15:57:23): Living alone, why? I just do it my way in the sense not looking right or left all the time what others do. This is how I understand it. It is not some ego trip ;-)
Anyways, the Champagne is put on ice greeting the New Year. Have a wonderful night.
This a great TOM choice, I love the color gradient of the sky and the way the path is shadowed. I think this must be your theme song...ooops, I just read your note. I was thinking of your photography too. My motto is, "Don't borrow trouble! Stay in the present" I've never been big on pasts but I can borrow trouble like few others. I think it's from being a nurse, my mind always goes to the worst case first when anticipating the future.
