here again the Pin castle.
It was nicely standing in the afertnoon light. Normally at this time of the year, fields should not be that green. Look like spring is next door.
PS : the map link is on the castle itself
The lovely grounds attracted my attention in the main, the map view shows that they are very expansive. Then I clicked on, 'LePin,' and found three more delightful images, each with a very different mood. Then I discovered that it is a 7 bedroom vacation rental, 550 pounds per night for a 4 night minimum. That would be quite a party!
I like how you show this beautiful castle in its surroundings - on top of the rising slope. Though you obviously have had a pale sidelight the building and the landscape are wonderfully accentuated by it. What a winter ... ;-)
The map view (satellite view) here even allows to look into the inner courtyard. Great!
Greetings from wet, grey and mild Westphalia!
this really is a castle that lends itself well to photos and yours is beautiful. You're right - the fields are way too green for this time of year. Climate change? We#re drowning in snow at the moment, but that's normal for us this time of year.
Meanwhile this scene must have changed and you have gotten some snow? At least in our mountains it is deep winter now. It's a wonderful place and an impressive château. I assume it has many tales around it :-) Great photo spot and a good quality image.
