Winter here in my region of Germany until now is just a shadow of its former self: nearly no snow, no real frost and many grey, dark, wet and dull days. The rays of sun are attractively framed in light and shadow while both the evergreen branch tips and fallen leaves are highlighted. Clearly a worthwhile day for a walk.
We're having very similar weather here, although I think we get more sun. On the other hand, the ground is still frozen. hen Wthe temperature rises above freezing deep puddles form on top of a several cm layer of ice. Regards, Patricia
