Back home safely after another fantastic trip and eager to share some new photos with you.
Our journey in Burma coincided with Chinese New Year, it is not celebrated on a huge scale, but the ethnic Chinese that live there like to carry on their traditions of course. We met this young boy in Mawlamyine practising for the lion dance.
Hi Elaine, Kung Hei Fat Choy ! I know the Cantonese dialect is wrong but the phonetics are close I guess to the Burmese Chinese !!
Welcome home. A lovely shot as ever. Look forward to those which will follow.
Greetings from a remarkably warm Perak District,
It is always such a big moment to share the newest images from a trip. Glad that you're home safely with a huge bag full of new images and memories to share. Fantastic photo of the little guy with the famous paste on both his cheeks looking shyly into the lens. Great the colorful mask beside him and also his red home dress both adding a vibrant feel to it. Well it's the year of the pig, reason to celebrate :-) Great one, Elaine, the D750 has passed the test.
