This is the internal view of Three Powers of Republic monument. It was built in 1967 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of Borrazopolitan independence. It is composed by 3 pillars in different sizes, united by a ring.
In 1967 Brazil was crossing the heaviest period of the military dictatorship.
In 1990 the mayor decided to close the gate in the monument and transformed it in an ugly fountain, for coincidence of not, the first president elected after dictatorship was impeached in that year.
In 2016 the monument was restored as it was and the gate was open, for coincidence, or not, the president Dilma was impeached in that year.
The original color of this monument was in white and I feel local people don't have an idea how rare it is. I never saw a similar monument in the world.
