I learned surfing in 1980. The boards were very heavy at that time but with a fairly strong wind you could surf at a high speed. That's what I intended to get there, using a very slow shutter and following the board during the exposition helped by an overcast wheather. I get what I was feeling, a sense of speed.
So good, I love it. You had just the right settings to make it work. Enough sharp to recognize everything still clearly and yet not that sharp to make it a "normal" image. You brought out the speed and wind just perfectly. I have never stood on such a thing yet. One of these days I should have a try :-)
The impression of speed , of motion, here is stunning. A really not everyday contribution to our theme of March! In addition the colours here are a gorgeous eye-catcher. Great!
