The motorbike is a great way to drive around in the cities and especially also when you have no parking spots much or in the narrow roads where you cannot cross each other well.

Bologna has built many bicycle ways meanwhile, a bit atypical if you think of Italy. But hey, It is Northern Italy after all, a student town, left-wing (I think it still is), a bit different. Folks from Southern Switzerland/the Ticino (Italian is spoken) often study in Bologna - by the way.
Zoom zoom, I can hear the sound the motors, hopefully not too loud for you. Some motor cycles are very annoying with the loud engine and the horns...and off course the smell of the smog. If we can I think people really should stick with the bicycles.
