A detailed look into the homes of the Rakhine village in which we stayed this year.
You can see the kitchen is outside under the verandah roof. The living area apart from the verandah is just inside the house and the bedroom is at the back divided by a curtain. To the side are a couple a small storage rooms. this is the home of 3 generations.
The grandmother sits on the verandah near the kitchen, this is her place for most of the day.
You may wonder why I am entering this into the ToM luxury. There looks nothing luxurious about this and you are right. But the luxury is the emotion I have whilst here, how lucky I am to be able to have the insight and knowledge to visit such untouched out of the way places, the luxury of health that allows be to do this and the luxury of my life-partner that enjoys the same experiences as me.
Thus into the theme.
Another Luxury is she has family close by. Lovely image. Into my choices.
PS; also presently enjoying a three-generation Luxury experience for a month in South Florida with Rob, Liliana, and grandsons Conor and Byron!
