Although we met this elegant Chin last in Monywa she like us was a tourist visiting the vast cave temple complex at Po Win Daung. The site is thought to have been conceived in the 14th century, though cave temple construction went on until quite recently. The majority seem to be, 14th to 17th centuries, while most of the fading interior murals are reckoned to be 17th or 18th centuries. Footpaths and stone staircases link one to another. She looked so photogenic standing in the stairwell and with her purple clothes fits out theme.
A really fancy contribution to our theme of February! I especially like the "composition" of this photo with the diagonal of the old stairs -and the at the same time proud and charming posture of the lady. A beautiful and eye-catching photo ... I like it very much!
Greetings from wet, grey and cool Westphalia! Have a nice weekend!
A beautiful portrait of the woman in her royal colors perfectly framed with the stairs to the temple! It will be a hard choice between the lotus blossom and this elegant lady although I lean toward the woman. GLV, Pat
Nice to see that the locals also have the time and effort to go see some of their own site of interest. Seem she is also posing for her own photo taken by someone else, and that worked out nicely for you as well. Like her traditional outfit that make a good one for the ToM.
