Looking back on a long weekend in Treviso and Venice organised by Italian friends. For me they were the "golden days" of Pf , and I will miss them, as I will miss the people I met and the friends I made.
The main is the Church of St. Mary of Nazareth in Venice. The CI is a photo I took in Burano
I remember this church well and I'm amazed that you were able to pull out such great light and detail from the darkness. I think the masks were close to the place we had lunch in Burano. Paulo really had planned this event with exceptional detail. Both images are excellent and they bring back many happy memories. That really was the peak of PF. Thank you for the memories. GLV, Pat
mortijo (2020/03/24 14:53:14): Your memory is better than mine! I knew the masks were on Burano somewhere and the church was in the neighbourhood of the railway station in Venice.
I post processed the church in On1i RAW 2020.
Hope all is well on your side.
Unfortunately certain time can never return, but at least you have experienced those time and it can be cherished time and again through photographs. Those days are gone, now all people do is "like" your picture and never have to say anything....Sometimes they don't even really look at the photo, they just like it so you can like them back. That's all.
This is a lovely photo full of detail of the church and full of you fond memories.
Let's hope that our friends in Treviso are well and in good health. I just had to think of them when I saw this image. Did you contact them? We met them in Munich together with Linda & Hartmut. Loved the guys, so much fun.
You gave the images good "vibrations", great the strong pp.
Having seen all the photos and descriptions you and other members, who participated in the Treviso and Venice meeting, I can well undersatnd your words about the "golden days" of PF. I regret that I was not able to join that meeting. When seeing your photo and note, I got concerned of our friends in Treviso. I hope they are well.
Thanks for this excellent photo of this beautiful church. You have managed the light in a perfect way and the many details are rendered nicely.
