Today we have still a tin layer of snow on the ground after yesterday's snowing. The spring has however advanced. I saw blue anemones during my walk 3 days ago. I had only my mobile phone with me and the photo did not succeed well for some reason. Therefore I show you a photo, which is taken 8 years ago in Latokaski village of Espoo. Note the date. It is exactly one month later than today. Blue anemones that year were in bloom at the end of April.
Hi Lasse! Beautiful, simply beautiful! I have them in my garden, however still in buds. Real liitle artworks of nature - with a fascinating and well rendered colour. All the best to you and yours from cold Siegen!
What a delightful image!! Anemones are some of my favorite flowers, but then I find all spring flowers delightful My daffodils are pushing out their leafy swords but no blossoms yet. Regards, Pat
So lovely and pure nature. I hope to see some myself hopefully soon. We had plan for vacation, but that changed due to the current virus situation and we still hope to be able to go to some parks where they are less people.

Many people all over the world have had to cancel their plans these days. I understand that it is a challenge to stay home with two little kids and find them something to do. Hope you are able to find some place to be out.
This image streams out something so completely positive kind of "even after all the cold maybe even hopeless days something so pretty grows from underneath". I really like how you kept it dark but only the flower adds a sense of light.
Same here, they say that nature is at least four weeks advanced. Right now it is really cold in the night even in the lowlands. Let's hope that the frost does not hurt the plants too much.
Blue hepatica (liverwort) flowers are very impressive in a spring time waking woods. Have not seen them myself for a while so your photo in very welcomed here.
Mobile phone did not get you successful results. Keep your camera with you. You are not the only one getting left with a phone trying to get something interesting into a picture.
Thank you for beautiful one.
Enjoy your spring.
