Beach Life -
Your feet in the sand or your nose in the wind. Search for shells or build a castle. Enjoy a summer drink or kite surfing in the surf. The beach life is diverse, relaxed and uncomplicated. How would you shoot it? Grab your camera and go to beach, be it by the sea, lake or river. Alternatively, swim in your photo archive for the most beautiful pictures of the beach life.
Please remember to emphasise "life", be it water life or humans having fun.
We’re sure with some thought and ingenuity you can show us your creative ideas.
As always please explain in your note how your image fits the theme
PREVIEW OF UPCOMING THEMES
Old and New -
September’s theme is probably self explanatory. We may all have examples of contrasting old and new architecture, like historical buildings beside modern and new architecture, old bridges within a new city. Can you think of anything else with these contrasts? e.g. traditionally a bride has to have something old, while the dress is usually new; an old car next to a new car in the car park etc etc
We’re sure you can think of lots of examples.
Show us your creativity and explain in your note how your image fits the theme.
Being mindful of the weather with autumn approaching, our theme for October is “Interiors”.
When shooting buildings often the emphasis on the outside. But the inside is often just as interesting! During the entire month we are going to keep you inside. We can look inside stately homes, churches, castles, or choose for modern interiors, interior designers. We can expect to see vast halls but often small details and niches. We can look into your own home, an office, a hospital or any working establishment. The choice is yours. Determine your point of view, choose a realistic exposure and make the most of your beautiful Interior photos.
