I love the soft effect of waves in slow motion but I am always reminded how dangerous it is around the shoreline when the winter rollers make landfall. Renee and I visited one of our favourite places after a three year hiatus. We both missed Tofino.
The slow shutter has had a wonderful effect on the waves. I always do like the slow shutter effect but this one is fast enough to still show plenty of movement in the water creating some lovely patterns. Not delicate, but definitely soft. Excellent image.
This is even more than a soft effect
A 1/3 people in the distance are quite sharp compared to filet effect on waves
Interesting presentation and good to have the pano version to look at picture in details
what a gorgeous image and what a great contribution to TOM. I really like the soft effect of the slow mo too, and the implicit danger makes for a very moody image. I can understand why you and Renee like to go there. Please give here a hug from me! :))
Looking forward to having more contact here. Take good care, my friend!
I thought Tofino as soon as I saw the image. I do like long water exposures and I prefer making the LV the same as the main. Your images always make me long to return. I am amazed how many people are in the image in January. My only visit was in May, many years ago. I don't think I saw that many people in one place on that trip from the 90's HLJ, Patricia
