About the image: The very first time I stood at Reflection Canyon overview was June 2013. It was a crazy solo hike in the dead heat summer. The goal was to photograph this view with the super moon rising above this scene at sunset. Mission accomplished!
Since than I hiked another three time to Reflection Canyon. At my last hike I only carried sleeping and eating stuff and no photography gear to arrive there with enough energy to search for an access to the water level. Mission accomplished, again!
My 5th visit to Reflection Canyon was with a motorboat. I hiked up the wall with sleeping, eating and photography stuff. Next morning I got my GoPro up in the air and shot several 12 megapixel images. Back home and working on these images reminded me of the files I got out of my old Nikon D200 11 years ago. I hope GoPro will improve the quality of their sensors as the digital quality of the files are nothing worth to be used for serious photography. What I mean with that is I cannot print this image large.

I am not at high enough level in photography to say anything meaningful about your photo. I just mark it as one of my favorites and promise to keep coming here back to look at it.
Fantastic natural wonder. It is not of your doing, still glassy water neither but the photo is and great thanks for it.
I promise I will try to improve my skills but don't hold your breath, I will not even try to catch up with you.
I would have thought "Mission Impossible" wondering who would carry a drone to this remote spot in his rucksack :-) You made a wonderful aerial image with your drone in a place not many will ever see neither from the ground and definitely not from the air. The light is simply awesome, the chosen "Winkel" very good. Would also be interesting seeing it from even higher without a foreground. I am sure the quality will improve with these tools very fastly although I can't see any flaws in this size but of course everything is different in a large print.
Great downward POV to capture the twist and turns, its a very strong composition interesting across the whole landscape, but mastering the light and exposures also makes this a wonderful landscape to share.
Again a special achievement and an amazing photo from you, this time mastered with a drone! This is also a mission accomplished. In PF size I cannot see any shortcomings in the quality, but of course the situation is different in original size. A beautiful photo of this nature wonder. Gorgeous light and lovely calm water with reflections.
Gorgeous shot, nothing to say but just to show my appreciation and admiration.
Things are changing, when digital camera first come out, the quality was not as good either. I swore that I would not use it, and look at all of us now, and the quality is so superior...and I guess the drone photography will be part of the future and quality will be better. It is also very useful for business photo. I was on a few photo missions for my company shooting freeway and aerial shot on a helicopter, not it is all done by a drone, even though the quality is not yet up to our standard, but it is acceptable, cheaper and more economical.
