How nice to have such photogenic visitors. We saw some on our trip, but not close enough to have such good shots of them, but Tyler was always so exciting to see them, The babies are always referred as Bamby, and the doe is the the girl deer and the one with horns is the boy deer. He's now differentiating the gender of some animals...
Lovely shots, both of them. Love the eye contact of the main and so much details with the close up and the dark background make it pop out.

lovely contrast between the animal and the darkness of the BG. the position of its head, almost like posing for a magazine, is fabulous. when wild animals visit us frequently it is more easy to take nice photos than when they are found in nature and are more shy. excellent image. TFS.

You really live in paradisiac surroundings. It always again must be fascinating and touching to see the trusting deer around the house. You have had a wonderful light when taking this photo - suitable for a field guide. The animal stands wonderfully out from the background. I like both pictures very much.
Greetings from very hot and sticky Germany!
