We were tired after a long trek so we decided to have a day rest and drive down in the valley. We were seated close to the river when we heard some noise. The rafts and kayaks were paddling down the torrentous river. I got to the edge, and took some backlighted pictures increasing the splash of water on the oars, giving a sense of joyfull motion. I was noticed by the 2 persons who smiled
There's something going on in your photo and all even looks a bit dangerous! However, the faces of the two kayakes show that they enjoy all the dynamics around them very much. A not everyday photo! I like it!
Greetings from meanwhile autumnal Westphalia!
Your image has more value because it's more current but I'm still sticking with the delightful girl as best water play ever! Looks like you were very close to the action, i do like having a zoom that can be hand held. It is a sport that I really enjoy, especially when the river goes through remote areas. Two trips that I really enjoyed were Hell's Canyon on the Snake River and Grand Canyon. I'd like to do the whole Grand Canyon next time, we hiked in to Phantom Ranch for my first trip.
