On our way north to Lake Tahoe, we made a stop at Bodie Historic State Park. Here is the classic old car that everyone take. Here is my version, it started to rain a little, you see some dark spots on the car from the rain drops.
Here I like the black/white version very much because it does justice to the rusty and rotten car which still is able to give a treat to a young man. A somehiw fascinating sight ...
Greetings from rainy and stormy Germany! Have a nice week!
Interesting sometimes how it becomes a cult object, a must have in the bag of a photographer. b/w is the perfect choice making this place immortal. Although I have driven down to this area, at that time I had no idea of Bodie. But I have seen many other such sites with nearly no visitors, for example in Montana.
My favorite of the series in the LV with its great detail and the contrast of the rusty car and the foliage. The B&W image has great contrast; and Tyler really makes the Ci. He is so full of joy, HLJ x4, Patricia
