Bend's Winter Festival features artists transforming blocks of ice into intricate masterpieces, fire pits & the Central Oregon Light Art exhibit. The Ci has another light sculpture. Here's a link if you want more information
I keep missing the city and when I go back to fix it, it deletes the TOM choice.....as I did with my Shasta cloud and of course I didn't discover the error until it was too late to change, but I do think I've got everything selected for this image
What a lovely piece of art. Some folks have just so many ideas, bring it to paper ... and finally turn it to something special.
Ahhh a very nice image for the TOM, I like how the light play illuminates the winter night. Great to have such a Festival in your area.
I don't really understand what you have done with Shasta? Can't you add it again?
plimrn (2019/10/31 19:39:46): It is still there, I just decided that It didn't need to be in the TOM since nobody suggested that it should be in the TOM and by the time I discovered it, it had already been heavily commented. I enjoy the TOM mostly for an excuse to use old photos
You show us two beautiful and somehow fascinating sculptures which are "playing with light". They both surely aren't by far as impressive and interesting in daylight. The sculpture in main photo looks a bit like bubbles rising up in water.
A beautiful contribution to our theme of October!
Greetings from cool Germany - with first considerable frost last night!
plimrn (2019/10/31 19:44:48): Thank you, I expect you're right about the day views. I'm pretty sure the ground is frozen here now so I can put put out seeds before I leave for my grand-daughter's wedding
