What a wonderful and worth seeing series of photos - and here one nearly could think that it's a b/w picture ;-)
This one once again is a most impressive portrait, this time of a somehow elegant animal species. It would be worth to be used for an animal encyclopaedia. This must have been an inspiring stay in Blijdorp. The name says it all ... ;-)
Greetings from hazy and cold Westphlia!
The black-whites (in my eyes no. 1 and 3) are definitely art pictures while the color has another flavour kind of "sweet animal image". Can't compare I think. All images are well composed in excellent quality including this one. Maybe your next career is animal photography???
Everlasting (2020/01/03 13:08:09): oh I don't think so Barbara, this was fun to do for the day but to do real wildlife photography I would have to invest in so much new equipment, lenses etc. Oh no, I'll stick to the streets ;)
That otter paw almost looks like an old man's hand (with the thumb out of view). I've never seen an otter paw so close-up! Very cool! GLV, Pat
Ps: Sorry I can't open the series images commented on by others
plimrn (2020/01/07 02:29:55): Thank you. I really didn't want to miss your imagesEverlasting (2020/01/04 05:40:44): hi Pat, I think the others were referring to the earlier posts here of the otter and the pelicans. This is a stand-alone image and not part of a series, so you are not wrong for not finding the series to open.
