This is one of the cannons of Monte's Fort, the main fort in Macau. It was created during the menace of the invasion of the Dutch, between 1603-22. Originally Portuguese built a fence around the mountain and it was improved after. The cannons were used only in 1622 when the Dutch tried to invade Macau and were defeated, what was considered as a miracle because the city defense was very weak.
The area of the fort isn't so special, I liked the gate, the museum and the vistas. Here we can see some tourists menacing the main casino (Cassino Lisboa), this building looks like a pineapple or a lotus, according with the oficial version.
Macau was the third most visited town in the world in the last year, London, NY, Rome and Paris were nothing. Domestic tourists are the main source of visitors.
